Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee came to this earth in mortal form 539 years ago and Sikhs all over the globe will be celebrating the arrival of Guru Nanak on the 13th November. But why did Guru Nanak need to come to the earth?

Having been born into a family of another faith, my spiritual journey along the path of Sikhism obviously did not begin along with my very first steps.

Growing up in New York City, I learned that the turbanned and bearded gentlemen I saw with increasing frequency were followers of a unique religion called Sikhi (as Sikhism is often referred to by its adherents).

Vaheguru jee ka khalsa, vaheguru jee kee fateh.Recently i came across this blog where a person was describing a story about Indraj Singh (  an inspirational story of young boy to whom GuruSahib took  SachKHand)
