I dont think there is one theory of mans evolution.
It will keep on changing as our intellegence evolves.
I am of the opinion that quantum theory may explain it.
Life is possible only on certian quantum numbers or
may be pattern theory may explain it with certian pattern of genomes fitting into the cosmic pattern of life.
To put it on GOD is simply to wash ones hand of from exercising his intelligence on thsi beautiful creation of GOD called LIFE.
