Heaven or Hell

Guru Ki Pyari Sadh Sangat Jeo,

There are some very important basic facts to be understood about body,
mind, life and death.
Who am I? I am not my physical body. I am divine living in the form of subtle
or sookham body(eternal) in the physical or Asthool body(perishable) . Mann
toon jot saroop hai apnaa mool pachhaan. jo brahmandy soee pinday jo khojay so
paavay.
Normally speaking, we identify ourselves with the physical body which when
perishes, we call DEATH. Actually, there is no such thing as death because the
eternal being has been there for ever and will be there for ever. If you
really understand as to who you are, you will never die, i.e., you seek it simply
by identifying yourself with your real SELF or INNER SELF.

You have to know your innerself and learn to be with it rather than your
outer body.
So bauraa jo aap naan pachhaanay aap pachhaanay taan aikay jaanay.

So heaven and hell are right here in this life. If you spend all your life in
the external world
remaining busy in sense gratification and elevation of your ego, you may
experience rise and fall, ups and downs, good days and bad days full of misery,
you are in hell.

If you learn to explore your innerself and experience the life of interiority
which will give you
never ending permanment joy coming from the fountain of Bliss Ocean within
you, you are in Heaven and will remain in heaven with eternity for ever. Nanak
Bhagtaan Sadaa Vigaas...
Read Gurbani again and again and again and understand as to how to reach the
final goal of our life by attaining Self Realizatiion. Please seek help if you
need. Thank you.
With my deepest and affectionate regards,
Madho Singh

who am i

WHO AM I?

Satvir Singh: -Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh, my dear sisters.
The sisters said, “Who are you?”
Brother said, “My dear sisters I have come to ask you the same question of which I have not received the right answer yet. I have been wandering for so many years to search about it, but I have received no satisfactory answer yet. Please explain it to me and make me satisfied about this.”

After listening to that the sisters became very happy and realized that that person was not an ordinary person but a great devotee of God. He looked like a real Sikh. They requested him to sit close to them and asked him, “What do you understand about yourself?”

Sikh: -Dear sister! I myself feel that I am the son of S. Jaswinder Singh, my name is Satvir Singh, I live in Surrey, and I have my relative, who has wife and four children. He and I live in Newton area in this town.

The sisters laughed at him and said, “Is this all you understand about yourself or do you know anything else?”

SIKH:- Dear sister! I know that I am a Punjabi Canadian and Canada is one of the countries of this earth.

The sister: -Dear brother! That is the one reason you have lost your peace of mind.

The Sikh: - My dear Sister!, Everybody thinks himself in the same way.

The sister: - Yes dear brother! Majority of the people of this world think themselves in the same way. That is why they are all living uncertain and upset. When you realize yourself who you are, you will feel the peace of mind within.

The Sikh: -Dear Sister! Then please don’t delay any more and explain it to me right away.

The sister: -Dear brother! This cannot be done right way. When you will be able to have the knowledge of yourself, your attitude will be totally changed. Your world will be different. You will know that your thoughts are your world. When you change your thoughts, your world will be changed. If all this happen at once, it will be difficult for you handle that change. You have been living in such a world, from which to transfer to another world has to be done step by step.

The SIKH: - Dear sister! I cannot understand your explanation. Please advise me and explain to me as you wish, of who I am.

The sister: -Dear brother! You told me that you are Satvir Singh, but this is only a name, which was selected by your parents at the time of your birth. But how can you be Satvir Singh? This name was selected only to identify you from others.

The SIKH: -Dear Sister! Yes! It seems to be true, that I am not Davinder Singh.

The sister –Dear Brother! You told me that you are the son of Jaswinder Singh. You are not Satvir Singh, the same way your father is not Jaswinder Singh. Jaswinder Singh is also a name chosen by your grand parents at the time of his birth to call him with that name. Therefore your real father is not ( Jaswinder Singh ) but it is hidden reality behind this name. You are not Satvir Singh, but the hidden power behind you.

The SIKH: - Sister! I have understood up to this and my big doubt has been removed. Please guide me further about myself.

The sister –Dear brother! You said that you are the resident of Surrey. Your home is at Newton area. This word Newton was also chosen by human beings to identify this town. Then this town was divided into different parts. One of those parts is called Newton Area. In this part, you have a house, which was made of building material and it was numbered. But in reality this whole earth is one unit. Human beings have divided it into different parts for their own convenience. You think that you are the resident of BC, BC is the province of Canada, which is the country of North America and North America is the continent of this whole earth. Therefore you do not live in Surrey, but in this whole world.
You also think that your relative has a wife and four children, but wife and children are words also chosen by human beings. There is no such division in nature. The Sun, Moon, Earth and the Universe seem to be different, but in reality they are the creation of the same power. In the same way, the trees, animals, birds and the human beings look different, but in reality they all belong to the same family. The whole creation is not separable. The creation of God looks with different varieties, but from the research it is only created from one source. Water, wood, iron, gold and animals are the different images of one source.

The SIKH: - SISTER, I have understood all this very clearly, but I have come here to understand, who I am. Please open this knot of my mind.

The SISTER: - Please think over and over about the knowledge, which I gave you today. You try to find your answer on the basis of this knowledge.

The Sikh started to evaluate all the conversation done with sister and said;

SIKH: - Dear Sister! I continued to think and research according to your knowledge and I came to this conclusion: that I am a SIKH of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Is it correct?

The Sister: - Dear brother! As you are not the son of Jaswinder Singh and you are not Satvir Singh, this is the same way Guru Nanak was also the name of an authority chosen by his father Mehta Kalu ji.

The Sikh: -Dear Sister! Then I am a human body, whose name SAtvir Singh was chosen to call.

The Sister: - My dear brother! No, you are not the body, because this body is yours’. It is functioning with your order. Then how can you be a body?

The Sikh: - Dear sister, I have my mind and its thoughts and its waves in my body. If I am not the body then I will be the mind or its waves.

The Sister: - Dear brother, as the body is yours, but you are not the body, the same way your mind and its waves are yours, but you are not mind and its waves.

The Sikh: - Dear sister, I cannot think beyond this limit. Please make me understand further more. If I am not Satvir Singh, I am not the body, mind and its waves, then who I am.

The Sister: - Dear brother, you are the mysterious power living in body and mind. Although this mysterious power has no name, but we have chosen names of everything to make us understand, this power’s name is the SOUL. Therefore you are the SOUL ( ATMA ).

The Sikh; -Dear Sister! Please, explain me in detail, what is ATMA?

The Sister: - Dear brother! Atma means your source of existence, which is beyond the limit of your body and mind.

The Sikh: - Dear Sister! I have understood nothing about this, because, where there is no body and mind, there is nothing left. Only darkness is left.

The Sister: - My dear brother! If there is nothing, then who will say this, that there is nothing except darkness, where there is not your body and mind, there will be your reality, who is saying that there is nothing?

The Sikh: -Dear sister! Please explain more about this.

The Sister; - Dear brother! You live in your body, which is visible. The body is lifeless; the power which moves it and makes it function is your reality. Your mind and its thoughts are not your reality. Mind, intellect and attitude, which you have in your body, are the creation of your reality ATMA, but they are not your reality. Where there is the end of your body, mind, intellect and attitude, your reality Atma will still exist. As we wear the socks on our feet and on our feet, we wear shoes, when we shake our feet the socks and the shoes will also shake with the feet.
In the same way the socks of our mind, intellect and thoughts are working. Whenever our Atma wishes, our mind, intellect and thoughts will start to move. With all this our body moves, runs and dances. Only the knowledgeable person knows this mystery.

The Sikh: - Dear sister thank you so much, but what is the name of my reality?

The Sister: - Dear brother! In this age the scientists have found two things of this universe. One is matter and second is the energy. According to their research this whole universe is made of these two things. The energy is itself a blind force. It does not have wisdom and movements. Therefore to run this force under rules and regulation, there is a super force. The great saints and sages have called this super force as PARAMATMA(universal soul ). Wherever we see any material things, there is invisible force behind these things. Therefore dear brother, from outside you look as a body, but from inside beyond the mind and intellect, you are the image of invisible God. When at the time of death, the body is decomposed, but you and your reality do still exist.

The Sikh: Dear Sister! What is the relationship between my reality and God? Who is He and who am I?

The Sister: - Dear brother! Your reality is just like an ocean and you are the wave or the bubble of that ocean. As nobody can separate the wave or the bubble from the ocean, the same way nobody can separate you from your reality (GOD). From ages being separated from God, staying in this physical world for certain period of time, one day you will be merged with God your own source.

jotee jot ralee sampooran thee-aa raam.

The Sikh: - Dear Sister! This is the relationship of my reality and my creation. Now when I spend my life in this world, what is the relationship with this source and myself?

The Sister – Dear brother! You are always the image of God, but when you forget this relationship and under the influence of ignorance you feel yourself separate from Him, then there is a problem. You are trapped in MAYA due to your own ego. You commit so many sins and have lots of sufferings due to your own actions. Under the siege of the ego and ignorance, you feel yourself as body, Satvir Singh , some body’s son, some body’s father, resident of some place of some country. You also feel a smallest creature on this earth. When this world of MAYA does not give you satisfaction, then you find the knowledge of your reality and get satisfaction and peace of mind.

The Sikh: - Dear Sister! When I realize my reality and become peaceful and satisfied, then what do I know?

The Sister: -Dear brother! At this stage you will know that all the qualities of your source (GOD) are dwelling in your mind. You become the same as God.

The Sikh: - Dear Sister! If I am the same as God, which means I am equal to God, is it correct?

The Sister: - Dear brother! No, you are not equal to God, because He is your cause. You exist only due to Him. If there is no wave or bubbles, the ocean will still exist. If you do not exist, still God will exist. But it will never happen that you will exist and He will not exist. You are the real proof of His existence.

The Sikh: -My dear Sister! If am only due to His presence, then I am nothing, but He is every thing.

The Sister: -Dear brother! Yes, you are nothing without Him.

The Sikh: - Dear Sister! Am I nothing? Am I zero? Please explain it to me, I am very upset.

The Sister –My dear brother! Please think about my words, I told you that without Him, you are nothing, but you are every thing with Him. You and He are one.

The Sikh: - Thank you very much; my dear sisters, you have removed all my doubts, which were bothering me all the time. You have unlocked my mind. I have become aware of my self. Now I have the knowledge of myself and I realized that I am the image of God, but not the body and any thing else. I tell the holy Sangat that Guru ji has explained through Gurbani that;
